I have some old school desks in my office, and they are some of the best pieces of furniture that is currently in my home. When I get up and go to my office in the morning a smile always creeps upon my face when I see how the antique school desk that I have looks in the sunlight. Maybe that is the reason that I like it so much, because it brings back memories of my old school furniture. If I had a big computer desk with hutch as my partner suggested, it would mean that there is more chance of losing things. A big executive desk, like most modern office furniture, has so many different places to put things whether they are work papers, staplers, etc. I need these things handy, or it will interrupt my work flow. A small desk ensures that I can find what I need, when I need it. I got sick and tired of spending so much time looking for things that I needed before I got my student computer desk.
